Worst boating experince ever today

That should clear things up for that ahole clammer! :). And, my wife who was born in Haifa, thanks you!
 
Boating has taken a turn for the worse lately. We were overnite in Hemlock. I cant tell u how many boats blasted tru the anchorage on plane . Who had music blasted.... How many anchor lines were tangled.... A huge anchorage and im going to drop my hook on top of u ... or over ur anchor .... Get a clue people!!!!

Rob..... It's very similar in the motorhome game. You see a lot of stupid people doing stupid things . Just yesterday a guy with a 45 ' motorhome tries to pull into his site ....cuts it too tight .....and rips his awning off on a tree. Then last night we where walkin up to the c/g restaurant and some guy left candles burning on his pic-nic table and started the plastic tablecloth on fire. Another guy melted his awning using his BBQ under it.

We consider it free entertainment. :)
 
DAMN .... I guess just the names are different and mode of transportation

I was at Hemlock Friday afternoon/evening and there was a couple of knuckleheads running around among the anchored boats in a dink up on plane. I guess they figured that no wake didn't apply to them.
A week or so ago I was on the hook in Zach's Bay. There was a Beach Boys concert scheduled for that night so I stayed pretty far east to be away from the crowds that were trying to get close to the Theater. Sure enough, a couple of boats had to drop their anchors almost on top of mine despite the fact that the east end was wide open.
There was a great article a couple of weeks ago in the NY Post about people without a clue buying boats. They had a picture of some reality TV woman aboard the brand new 50' Sea Ray her husband bought her to run around the Hamptons in. The fact that she had never operated a boat in he life never came in to play when he was writing out the check for the boat.
Hey, you have to start somewhere! Why not with a 50' power boat in a crowded sand box?
That was only one of a couple of good scary stories in the article.
I don't think the problem is unique to the Hamptons.
