2008's 1st official raft-up?

We hope to splash this Friday, otherwise we'll be rafting in the parkinglot with King . . ...
 
Dave, not a bad idea, let me do some research and we'll see if we can make this work.
 
I'm up for any Raft ups that's happening (except maybe the parking lots). If there is a group going from HAV/SP to Sandy hook, that may be fun.

My son's First Communion is this Sunday. After that I can focus on getting wet. I'm hoping to take a day off next week to get in. Anyone notice that the Newburgh area marinas are high and dry? I saw 1 boat in the water yesterday.

Wish I could make the raft-up this weekend . found out I need a trim pump motor this morning - should have it fri. Whats got me next is : something chewed up my v-berth cushion & i found what looks like a nest & little poops all over. My guess is a mouse.
I set two mouse traps one with peanut butter the other with cheese.
Anyone have any other advice on catching this stow-away ??

A few more weeks before I can be floating. Business travel is killing me right now!

Was wondering / hoping we could get a raft up going further NORTH!? Seems like I only get down to Kingston a few times a year anymore.
 
Now that i think about and am pretty sure i recognize some of your boats from the site i wish i had pulled up to some of the raft-ups in croton. for some stupid reason i was always to
chicken to ask to tie up and join the party.

im glad i found this site and get to talk to everyone i think its the coolest .... jon
 
Most of us don't bite Jon! (OK, one or 2 exceptions but mostly we're OK!)
 
All right rommer , i will take your word for it, thanks for the invite . as soon as i get in i will keep an eye out for the raft-ups , looks like i have to get another cooler this year to share drinks with all the new friends i've been making here since i'm still under "new guy" status... :) jon
 
New guy status lasts one year or until another sucker, ahem, new guys shows up!!! ;-)
 
Nope, In fact convicted lurkers have to pay an additional fee of snacks to go with the drinks...

We are a tough but fair group and well worth the price of admission!!!!
 
Considering the weather outside today, I just want to ask...how's everyone feeling this Friday?
Did anyone feel the need to call in sick?
For those of us that made it in, do you have the stanima to make it through the day?

This place is relatively empty!
 
Well Chris, not saying I am leaving but, I am turning the computer off at 12 and will open the 1st beverage at 12:30...
 
It takes 1/2 hour to realize it's not a twist off and go back to retrieve the bottle opener? Did Caryl break her leg or something?
 
I just looked at the webcam and saw Butch walking down the main dock, no shirt, but with long pants on!!

I'm still at work, but will be up at the boat all weekend. This makes working on it during those cold March weekends all worthwhile!!!
