Buff Magic / Polish Pro help

Just put my order in for Buff Magic and Pro polish. Where does veryone buy theres. No local stores sell by me had to mail order.

OK, just found another use for Buff Magic. It makes dirty white rub rails look like new.:)
 
Polishes stainless stell props, SS rubrails, any type of hard plastic, will remove light water spots on glass, good jewelry cleaner too.
 
Has anyone used buff magic on eisenglass?
I'm told it works great.
 
I used Buff Magic on two side curtains this winter. They were scratched and slightly cloudy in spots. I used a 6" diameter hand buffer that you can buy at any big box for around $15. They came out great.

Had great results from the buff magic on my black hull, no swirl marks and a mirror finish. The only questions that remains now is how long the pro polish will last?. I normally apply collinite three time a year, and hoping to cut that down to two times with pro polish. Thanks for the strong recommendation it came out great.
 
Dan, I have to re-apply Pro-Polish 2-3 times more often than Collinite.

Glad to see that it worked for you.

Not sure how long Pro Polish will last for you. I stay away from wax products the past few years, but if you are happy with Collinite, then stick with it, it is a great product, I used it years ago and it did work as many products do.
 
so we're going to go up this coming weekend and start with the buff magic - do we use this on the diamond non-skid deck? someone mentioned don't use pro polish on the non-skid - what do you suggest then?
 
Don't use buff magic or the polish/wax on the non skid.

I use Woody Wax, others have reported Aurora Sure Step to work well.
 
sorry, hopefully last question for awhile - how much of each product do I need?

we have 350 mariner - so 36ft long but lots of "above the gunnel" fiberglass, so not sure how to figure that out
 
I lied - still trying to figure out what equipment we need - went to home depot but they only have orbital sanders and angle grinders....this what we need?
 
The kid who details my boat each week just ruined all of my eisenglass with a dirty microfiber cloth. I just placed my order and need to know if an orbital will work best or should I buy one of those foam polishing balls that go on the end of a drill? The scratches are not that deep.

Look for a Makita Rotary Polisher, model # 7227C like this one. http://www.autogeek.net/ma927po.html Good deal I think because the included pad base and 2 bonnets.

IMHO a great tool that will last 2 lifetimes. I've had mime (older version) for over 20 years.

Try the orbital w/foam pad on the windows first.

I used the Buff Magic on my hull and it came out fantastic. I will never use wax again..

A few posts back you suggested not to use Buff Magic on the non-skid but in another thread you posted a link regarding buffing procedured....

What do you think I was going to use it this weekend..?
 
Good news Leigh.

My shrink wrap is coming off the big boat this week, haven't been able to get on the boat anyway, been very busy with pressing family matters.

I've used BM on my non skid which is awlgripped, it does clean it, I don't put the polish on it, I use Woody Wax once it's all clean.
