Cedar Point Marina

well I must plead the blow up was not my idea but required for me to acomplish. Today my required acomplishments include xmas lights on the house and being a designated driver to shopping area's :(

Cool - you're right in the middle of the fun crowd - it'll be a great summer.

I know its way too early to ask but when does everyone start moving in? first weekend?

as early in April as we can!!!! I usually get there near the end of April due to work. I believe they'll let you in after the 15th, although their season starts May 1

Thats b etter than I thought. I was expecting the Marina not to open till middle of may. Thats when the park opens right?

The park opens Saturday, May 10. The marina open before that, but the date can vary. If a harsh winter causes the docks to shift, there can be a delay in the spring as they re-align them. If everything is in order, it could be earlier.

lol friendly, unfriendly - you don't have to go into the park to get a roller coaster ride!

Ram: that one is just too easy - I'll have to pass. :)

Joe, you may have noticed while on Dock 11 that it doesn't have center pilings. Neither do docks 12, 13 and 14. So there's little consequence when those docks shift. 1-8 however, DO have center pilings, so as the dock moves and the pilings don't, every-other slip gets a little (or a lot) tight.

well I guess that answers the question if it would be too big. storage will be the only concern then.

a gallon ok, well i guess that means it will get use. so the only issue i would have to worry about it where to store it.

that is true forgot alll about the dock boxes. but Im sure if I went to Kelly's Island or Put-in-Bay for a while I would still need my mixer and Gallon of rum.

Everything is still frozen joerileyii...way late if you ask me!

I kind of figured that.. we have our ski boat cleaned up and may splash in a local lake here this weekend. We have not even looked at the searay except to see it from a distance. The tarps didnt not survive the last storm so have not seen it there was amy damage from the winter yet. I left the full canvas up under the tarps and the canvas looks intact so I assume it should be ok.

I saw two fisherman out of Toledo Beach yesterday on Lake Erie. Port Clinton still is packed with ice. Catawba had a few trucks and trailers in the parking lot also.

They really must be hungry for walleye.
