Cedar Point Marina

I've been in touch with Mike from the marina, and he has been keeping me updated on the fire code. He's thinking we should be able to come in by next weekend, but I would call first. The problem is that there are leaks in the fire hydrant lines on the dock...they are required to hold 100lbs of pressure for 15 minutes, and they do not, so the fire department won't let boats in. I'm planning on taking mine up this coming weekend :-)

sounds good let me know how it goes. Just found out I have a bad tire and need ball joints on my truck I use to tow it. So this weekend will be truck repair maybe next weekend we can make it.

Bad news...it's going to be first weekend in May. I'm restriping my hull and the striping won't be here until Friday. Then I have to buff and wax the hull...2 coats at least. I want it to stay shiny :-)

You're delayed because you need parts or supplies? What a shame! You should've told me earlier. See, I have this friend who can get any part for any Carver, for anyone. He does it all the time. Fast, courteous, a good guy to know. I'll hook you up. :)

We're aiming for the same wkd., so I guess none of us will be missing much in the meantime. Let's just hope the wkd of May 3rd delivers friendly waters.

Hi SLW..If they were Carver parts, I'd have them already...as Carver doesn't offer striping for my boat anymore, I've had to go to another source...in Cali. You'll have to hook me up with this friend of yours :-)

I hope that we both have great weather that weekend so we can all start to enjoy!

The Summer Donna (R & B's boat) is going there on Thrusday of this week.

I would, but I just heard that he has limitations. [:O] I'm disappointed, but I'll try to get over it.

I got a confirmation that Summer Donna went in today.

This wkd I'll be steaming the carpets, setting up the dinghy and polishing and waxing the starboard gunwale. Should be good-to-go for the 100 mile ($600) run to CP next wkd.

I'll put my order in for "2 feet or less" right now.

Please do...I'll have Scott's mom with me...she wants a boat ride for re-doing our interior :-)
