This was from this Saturday Jan 5th, at about 2pm. This is the view from our cockpit looking into Hurst Creek which leads to the main body of the lake. To the left is the popular Johnny Fins restuarant bar/grill. They have live music all summer and frequently throughout the winter as well.
Yes (sorry notherners), that IS a koozie around my beer. I think it hit 76 degrees.
Here's a view looking less toward Johnny Fins, but more towards the creek. It's all no-wake zone in here which is a great change from our last marina.

On the beach at The Bight on Norman Island, BVI. Temp. - 86 Degrees / Beer - 45 Degrees and wife in the water happy. Ran over for lunch from St. Thomas in the Fountain 29 Sportfish (boat in the background tied to the dock). Nice day!

Gerry we were there at the beginning of Dec. We chartered with Virgin Traders and were very lucky to get out of dodge before Olga hit! We had the mooring ball in front of the Willy T and had a great time, especially at night.
However, I think you were pushing the limits of legality since they popped a boat the night before we left for doing exactly what you did.

Dan,
We're Boy Scouts when it come to the Customs issue. When we head over to the BVI we always run over to Jost and check in/ out for the day. Jost is much quicker for the process than Sopers Hole as that office is also used for training new staff. Plus, it's a great excuse to hit White Bay!
I hope you enjoyed you stay in the islands!

Hogan, the dog thinks I might feed him and he needs me to open the door when he needs to pee, that's why he pays attention to me. The teenager sometimes forgets that I still pay for everything and gets an attitude. Other times when she remembers her "needs" and that fact that I currently am the "supplier", we become great friends. Everyone should experience having a teenage girl at some point, it's a rollercoaster ride better than any. She is not too embarrassed by her Dad, yet, but she doesn't know I put her picture on BE either.
