Lunch Time View Today

I feel your pain Bill. I have 3 daughters. The older two (one out of college and the one in college) pay attention to me again.

Gerrynoak, I think I'm going to put yours on my "desktop"!

This was last Sunday in 80 degree Texas weather.

I thought my wife and I were strange when our families complained that every picture of us had either a beer, glass of wine or a cocktail in it. Glad we're not alone!

How come Andy gets a drink and you get ketchup?

I was driving Dan. Had to make sure that Andy made it safely over to Inga that evening.

Duck, there's one of those newfangled alternative energy vessels in your photo - cool! Doesn't seem to be moving too quickly though.

I know Les. It was pretty much at a standstill. Andy's been doing some research since we got back to try and figure out what the darn thing is. Any guesses are welcome.

Hogan.....you appear to have not moved during the entire time period from sun up to sun down! Not that I blame you but...check pulse. You nay be dead!

Here are a few lunchtime views lately....

This first one was actually on the way to lunch...but had to stop and take a couple of shots, just the same...Yep, that's Octopus in port in Honolulu next to the Aloha Tower...too big to moor anywhere but around the old cruise ship/cargo terminals....

Now a couple from Kapalua...note in the second one that the little black dot above the beer bottle is actually a humpback whale breaching just off-shore...

I'll post more as vacation goes along!

This was last week. A sunrise view from our balcony. Can you guess where?
