I am boatless this year thanks to Sandy so I haven't been as active on here as in the past... I do have a few observations though...

1st. You all sound like a bunch of old women. My marina better than yours, we have deep water.. Get a life, WTF!

2nd. You all seem to be a bunch of Dock Mary's this year. I can understand the HM crew not leaving the docks as that place sucks you in (I know I was there for years and hardly left the dock) but Mike and Todd, you guys have no excuses.. well except the tide of course...

3rd. Allen and Dave, I can see why you guys get along, you both write like 3rd graders. Ever heard of “Spell Check”, sometimes it is painful reading your posts.. Have some consideration would you.. Gesh...

1. We are not asking non boat owners to understand. Non of your business.
2. Boat Mary's is a joke bout again... We don't expect you to understand.
3. You are absolutely right. Both my grammar and my spelling is terrible. Even at my native language. Actually my son is in 3rd grade and he does better than me. Wasn't born in this country so it is what it is. And yes, me and Dave do get along very well. But again, not expecting you to understand.
4. Why don't you go back to your boat less life, maybe instead of reading BoaterEd you should read BoatlessEd? Or HomeEd?

Anyone in the mood for mashed potatoes? I'll pass never know whats been in it:)

What's the deal with the fire???????

And Butch didn't even have to leave his boat to take that picture

He couldn't, it was low tide.

This make no sense... What does Low Tide have to do woth Butch getting off his boat and walking 1/4 mile to take a picture...?

1. Read again and you might understand.
2. You are writing like a 2ed grader. Don't you spell check!!! WOTH!!! What does that mean?

About 4:00 PM there was a boat fire at Patsy's. Looked like it was on the service dock. It looked like more than one boat caught fire. The guys there moved some boats, then yelled get away when another bunch of smoke went up. The details should be in the Journal-News tomorrow.

I just stopped by. It looks like one boat. A blue Donzi named "The Big C" from Congers NY. Crispy critter.

Burnt beyond repair. Rub rail up is gone. Sucks that you can make it through hurricane and lose your boat at the dock.

1st. You all sound like a bunch of old women. My marina better than yours, we have deep water.. Get a life, WTF! (This should be a question mark. Not an exclamation point)

2nd. You all seem to be a bunch of Dock Mary's this year. I can understand the HM crew not leaving the docks as that place sucks you in (I know (There should be a comma or a period) I was there for years and hardly left the dock) but Mike and Todd, you guys have no excuses..(Only one period is required here) well except the tide of course...(same here)

3rd. Allen and Dave, I can see why you guys get along, you both write like 3rd graders. Ever heard (This should be hear, not heard) of “Spell Check”, sometimes it is painful reading your posts.. Have some consideration( Comma required) would you..(question mark) Gesh...

Sweetness, I made some corrections to your post as there seems to be several grammatical errors.

As much as I enjoy this please don't do it to me. :-)

NBR:
Anyone heard anything about the GWB today? Was stuck in traffic coming home this evening for two hours heading from the Harlem river drive to the bridge, lots of police on the lower level which was shot down.

I have been out every weekend since my boat went in, but i admit have not been anchored out, just taking some rides and checking on the work i had done this season.

I wonder why is it that HM transient business is so blooming and prosperous while all the other marinas around us don't have transient slips at all!! Can someone explain? I mean i know we are better looking but that cant be the only reason!!! :-)

Simple, our marina is full, and besides, we wouldn't want the transient riff-raff fouling our facility.

You said it, your marina is full....full of riff raff. How much more do you need?

How much is the tipping bill up to this season?

When you stay at a resort you don't mind tipping when service is there for you.

Just trying to catch up. I missed a lot in one day.

Heading up to the boat early tomorrow with the Admiral and crew. School has completed, my daughter graduated 8th grade with all A's & B's, my son completed 6th grade with straight A's for all 4 marking period and achieved the highest GPA, ranked #1 in his class and achieved 5 academic awards. We are truly proud of their achievements and will be celebrating this weekend!

Nice Bob, thats really great. My kids going for two hours, i will be picking them up and coming down to the marina as well. Probably be in the pool.

News said. fire at Patsy's was on a boat at the service dock, they said workers were working on the boat when they smelled fuel, than when they started the engine it caught fire. Why would you reach to start if you smelled gas ?

Sound like a law suit! If they just lite a cigarette and think about it before starting the engine it might have been ended differently!
