For me, boating and the water is in my blood. I grew up on a boat, and have been on a boat all my life. During the winter, I still take trips down to the marina to get the "feeling"
Sandy didnt scare me one bit about having a boat. After seeing Sandy, Ive learned NOT to haul a boat, (unless its on a trailer and can be moved north). The price of fuel doesnt bother me, to me, its money well spent. If you need to worry about how much gas is, then you shouldnt be on the water.
Boating is a hobby, a way of life. Gas on the water could be 15 dollars a gallon, and I would still use the boat. Im like a heroin addict, I gotta get my fix..
