Well the weather report for this weekend is cautiously optimistic so is anyone up for a raft-up and/or overnight at one of our favorite anchorages?

Les, you game? Hogan said he'll bring the rutabagas and Absolut!

I'm game, but it would have to be in a parking lot. Hopefully be in next week.

How long do you reckon it would take me to sail Little Sunshine up from the coast if I splash her in Charleston or something?? hahahaha

I'll be on my boat this weekend and the bow literally hangs over the Hudson so we can tie up if you guys want to raft by the CYC. Heck, I'll even let you guys help wash and wax....cold beer for everyone.

Butch, is Caryl free this Sunday?

I'm guessing 18hrs if you sail her in the back of your pickup up i-95.

And if the wind is blowing in the right direction you can even save on fuel!

We (hopefully) get wet this weekend! We're not really ready but we're goin' in. All I have to do is finish an inverter and transom lights (they are in and just need wires).

Well, not this weekend, but maybe sometime this summer. Will you guys have me? I'm about 2 hours away, which is only 30 minutes further than we normally have to trailer to our local lake.

I think your take on me would be significantly different after you met my family and me.

Absolutely, Bob - I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Man wouldn't that be a hoot? Seriously, I'm only about 2 hours from the Tappan Zee Bridge. Are you guys far from there? Where would there be a good place to put in (as far south as possible)?

12 miles north of the TZ Bridge. Haverstraw or Stony Point are the nearest launch ramps. Look here, they list all the ramps:

Bob, I admit, I don't always make it to the HRCC raft-ups but I'd love to meet you. I'm a big fan.

Wow...leave board for a day or so and everything turns around.

1st...A fonts war..must have been something, locks and deletions...wow...

2nd...The famous Bob is going to make a HRCC raft-up.....

3rd... Sorry Chris, Caryl is booked up, she still has to do the cockpit....

4th....Wood comming from the south for the longest travelled award..

Thats it, new rule...HAVE TO CHECK THE BOARD SEVERAL TIMES A DAY..
Next thing to happen might be Mike or Chris voting for Hill ary...Oh Nooooooooooo

I feel the same way Butch, yesterday was a banner day apparently!

And you guys don't know the half of it!!

Hey, idea here. Why don't we plan a HRCC-LICC raftup at a midway point. Not sure where that would be or where a good spot is, but we could come half way to u and u come half way to us and we all raftup. Maybe Sandy Hook NJ. I bet we can get a good turn out since most boats could make the trip and get home before dark if they didn't want to spend the night on the hook.

Mike, you want to help me plan it? .
