That ought to make for an interesting weekend with all the transient traffic and the boater's who don't know the area too well.

AMAZING......there is at least one fatality every season on the GSB. Ask him how he will feel if his cost cutting measure adds more fatalities this season.

The buoys from my canal in Lindenhurst and heading east are all in now. One note - The set of buoys near the Babylon town docks (north of the Babylon Cut) are placed well to the north of where they usually are. I went through the buoys instead of my old track line and it was much shallower there where I passed. Sticking with my track now and ignoring that set, which I already due with the next set west of that.

I ignore those. Best line is straight from sewage plant to bridge and vice versa.
That's always been my mark thru there.
Entrance bw ss3 and Ayc is shallow. But that should clean up over time.
They better start putting money aside for dredging as the sandbox is filling in.

Looks like Sea Tow and Boat US will have a BUSY season........ It takes the " fun " out of boating :(

Guess you got and read the LNM this morning.
I am okay with all those but I know other boaters who won't be.

It's just a shame that they do this. I actually hope they leave them on the charts. At least then you still have a guide.
